Look like a ton of fun guys. Nice desert wheeling and nice pics. Only thing I have to say, and I hate to sound like a treehugger, but it's really a good idea to stay out of running water creeks and rivers. That water downstream is likely used by a city or by farmers for crops and animals and doesn't need pollutants such as oil or any other fluids dropping into it. It's stuff like that that the treehuggers are using as ammo to get trails closed down around the country and attempt to put an end to our noble hobby. Seriously, just try to stay out of flowing water, it'll help keep the hippies off your back.

I already said somewhere above that the water is stagnent, not moving. The water will sit there and evaporate or be absorbed into the ground. It's over 100 degress out there every day. I was amazed that there was still water out there. The trail runs through a few washes. Only three had water. The only way for us to totally avoid the water was to not run the trail. It is a legal trail. We drove in washes because the road went through them. I understand where you're coming from but we were legally wheeling every palce we went. Thanks for looking out though.

I never said I was a hippie tree hugger. I just know the ammo they use when it comes to land use issues. Best way to shut them up is not to give them anything to work with.
