Throw a full size spare on top and have a high lift jack on the side and your set!

sexy!!! the only thing that stopped me from going this route with my truck was the fact that having a rack on top would make the truck too tall for several places that i frequent on a regular basis. including my garage. hahaha

oh SAME here lol I dont fit in the garage either now. good thing is 8 bolts its off. I dont plan on running the rack in the winter so it doesnt rust from the horrible salt. so I can take it off when ever i choose

No it won't. Back when grant owned it we called leer on how to mount it properly there is actually a structure in the cap and it's mounted through the structure same way they mount the rack system they sell for the cap threw leer.

If I remember right it's around 300lb it will support

Ha ha I could see how that would be a problem. It's a very nice clean look. I like your truck man!

Is the truck sitting completely level or does it have a bit of rake to it now? Looks good Stone, but I'm still jealous.

Looks good, I have yet to put a basket on mine. I had a sleeping deck on the inside but it ate up all my usable space, so I plan to redo that.

I had the same issue when I put my rack on. I was wondering how much load it can handle, so I called up Ranch. They told me that it can handle 170 lbs in one spot. So I did what any "intelligent" person would do- climb on top of the truck and walk around on the cap. It did not flex a bit. I weigh 170 and there was zero flex. So with the load spread around the cap, 300lbs would be easy.

I need to get a pet cool for mine during the summer...

there is a slight rake its been like that. cranked the T-bars up more and added beltech shackles in the rear. I dont have them on the highest setting tho
