Icon5 93' Ranger Question

Ok this might be a very stupid question but i am going to ask anyway since I can seem to find the answer.

How do i know if my ranger is 4wd? I can see that there is a light on my dash for 4wd but i can never figure out how to get it on..If my ranger is 2wd, is it possible to still have the light on the dash for 4wd? The light is not on i can just see where its at. There is also a little red button down close to the floor underneath my a/c unit. What would that be for?

Thanks for any future assistance!! I really do appreciate it!

The easiest way is to look under your truck. Got axles going to the front wheels? If so, 4x4.
And yes, you would have the light on your dash as the dashes are all the same. You would also have a push button on the dash by the radio. No buttons, no 4x4
