what happened to my rig...
Hey everyone, new member here so I apologize if I put this thread in the wrong place. I own a 1994 Ford Ranger 2.3l manual with 90000 original miles on it. Love this truck but I know the driveline wasn't going to last for it was unbalanced, just enough to where it vibrated at high speeds. Long story short i was driving down a highway at about 65 (as I routinely do to get to my work) when all of a sudden boom there goes my driveline. It was so mangled I thought for sure it did damage to my rig underneath. Hard to believe but everything was in one piece and the tube that sleeves into the transmission was still in there. I know a vehicle can still turn on without a drivline, but I think my ECM wigged out because my car won't start. The starter and battery are trying to get it turned over, but looking at my dash all the bells and whistles are going off. Says my battery is dead, no oil, an insane amount of fuel, etc. what happened? How do I fix that? Do I have to reset codes? Any help would be truly appreciated.
