Check out Rough Country. They make a cheap lift kit for the I-beam trucks (97 and prior) that runs about 450 which includes drop brackets, coils and shocks. Its a pretty good deal if you want something cheap, but its not the best kit out there.

K thanks. My dad wants me to raise it. And I want to lower and drop in a big motor for the track.

Just compromise. Put a small lift and big engine in it.

If your looking to lower it there is a guy on detroit craigslist with a set of 3" dream beams that should fit your truck for 250 dollars.

Lower the front end of the truck. They replace your stock forged I-beams with nice aftermarket ones to allow the truck to sit lower.

Installation isn't to complicated. You would have to remove the beam at the pivot bolt, the radius arm, shocks and anything clamping the coil. Once that assembly is off there is a wonderful (sarcasm) bolt that hold the radius arm, coil, and I-beam together which would need to be removed. Then reassemble it with the new I-beam. As for the rear of the truck, that's not as tough as the front. Easiest way I know of is to run an explorer axle which is spring under, opposed to the rangers axles which are spring over. That would lower the rear axle substantial. If that's not enough you could also flip the hanger, but you might start running into interference with the frame. I'm not sure on the specific clearances since I am more into lifting trucks.

just going to an explorer axle will drop the back 5 inches, more than enough, after that you have to notch the rear frame for clearance.
