I was thinking about ripping this thing down to the frame and box it in for the power from a built 5.0 or a 427 cobra jet

I was looking around for one, wanting to build either a 347 or a 427, and figured that since I wanted a wheel hopper a 347 would probably be better. I then realized I didn't have the funds, and would get in way too much trouble

you are looking at a lot of work to make the 427 fit... the 5L you can do though

I was asking wat the guys on there though it would be worth cuz I don't really kno. And yes the 427 there souls be a lot of work but it has been done. And the 5.0 is not that hard to put in either

with the 427, you would have to remove the inner fenders to make more room for the wider motor, and possibly modify the firewall so the engine can sit farther back, or move the front bumper forward, and grill, and extend the fenders, where as the 5L fits in the existing engine bay... and wouldn't require much...

Well, KBB rates a 90 in fair condition at $450, why would you think an older model with rust would be worth more?

Besides, when have you ever, or known someone to ever pay KBB value on a used car? It would have to be immaculate, rare, or stupid low mileage to garner actual values.

I'd say since your only reference point is $450, start there and take any reasonable offers. Because you saying it's worth at least 6 doesn't mean anything.
