i can only speak from experience, when i used them on my explorer they flattened the leaves out and i ended up using add a leafs to bring it back to stock. zach you should also note before blatantly suggesting a product wihtout any background, that i do believe griggs had to use pinion shims. many trucks have pinion angle problems when altering just one end of the leaf spring, for example lift or lowering shackles. shackles can be used with shims, to eliminate the pinion angle problems, but they still have a bad rep for flattening leaves when used on just one end. thats why i said if you wanted to use just shackles you should look into a shackle/hanger kit, that would effectively relocate both ends of the leaf pack.
just because a few people dont have problems doesnt mean that its the best way to go or that the method doesnt have flaws, im just pointing out a few to keep it objective
