Building up suspension.

Building up suspension.
So Ive been researching and figuring out exactly what I want to do, but I just want to ask here and make sure everything will work out.
2008 Ranger 4x4 Sport 4.0 Auto
Currently :
Front: T-Bar crank
Rear: Belltech Shackles.
What I want to do.
Front :
Pre key mod. I have a vin from a 02 4x4, and a buddy who works at ford. Will I get the older keys if I order from ford or will they pawn of the same ones i have already?
#1 Torsion bars Passsenger:F67Z*5B326*FA Drivers: F67Z*5B326*FB are the part numbers I have for them.
Bilstein HDs Shocks http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...-bilstein.html
Rear
Remove the belltech shackles, I do not like how there flattening my leafs. theyve been in for less then a year.
Pro Comp AAL to replace shackles
2.5" Blocks like it should of had from the factory.
Bilstein 5100 0-1" lift shocks http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...H5-ranger.html
Hellwig rear sway bar http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...on/7511F4.html
Hows that sound?
I mainly want the suspension tougher and able to take a bit more punishment on job sites and the beach.

Be sure to get the factory ubolts to go with the 2.5" blocks as its not good to reuse them. Your original ubolts from your current 1.5" blocks might be too short with the new 2.5" blocks.
Might want to look at James Duff traction bars for the rear too... http://www.jamesduff.com/broncoII/tracbar.html

Those Traction bars are nice. The mounting bracket that goes on to the frame is that weld on? or does it bolt onto holes already on the frame?
And the blocks I was going to with http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EXP-22250/ which comes with U-bolts.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8530)
I'd think the 2.5" blocks with the shackles would be a good match for the rekeyed bars. My truck sits level with no mods to the back and my bars cranked. Looking at the front end, I wouldn't want to raise it any more without a Superlift.

And I figured the Blocks from summit would be a replacement..wouldn't they be?

Ok so Its been a few months, saved some more money up.
The ride quality is significantly improved with the Bilsteins on all 4 corners, and the Hellwig sway bar in.
So now I'm onto Springs...
I have the part numbers for the #1 T Bars and the Pre-Key mod. Is there any difference on the 08' to the 09' bars? Tasca parts has them listed separate for 09-11...
The shackle in the rear is turning my leafs into a "W" now... Can I get rid of the shackles, put the stock ones back on and toss the 1.5 inch block and throw in a 4" Sky Jacker spring pack? How do they measure lift on those leaf packs? is that 4 inches with the block or 4 inches by themselves?
Thanks for any help.

Search my name and my threads. My setup is similar to what you have and my year is the same. It might help you decide on what to go with. I have the stock 08 block. I don't know how tall it is but I used that with a procomp aal and a preykey.
I didn't want a shackle since I had read that it moves you axle forward and I remember seeing a member do damage to his bed when offroading. My axel is centered in the rear wheelwell.

I Have a pro comp AAL sitting in my garage, but i dont think its going to fit to well in my spring pack with them being how they are.
Has anyone ever done a pre key, #1 Bars in the front. Then run the Skyjacker 4" leafs with the stock shackle and no blocks?
I figure I'm loosing 2 inches from the shackle/block so the leafs should match up fairly well with the 1.5 gain from the pre key..?
I'm not looking for much lift. I refuse to buy a kit that keeps torsion bars. I would of bought a super lift by now. I'm happy with my 31"s. I just want it beefed up a bit. I don't do much off roading, I just carry everyone's crap when we go camping, and I drive around on the beach.
