Swapping front ends

So i know with alot of people on this website they do solid axle swaps with their 4wd's and build ****ing monster ranger's. Ive been thinking of going down with my 2wd edge but the lowest i can go isnt low enough for me. So i was thinking, has anyone swapped out their edge IFS suspension and conveted their torsion bar front ends to coils? If i lowered my truck im gonna wanna slam the **** out of it. So has anyone done anything this intense to their edge?

D is doing something more like building a full tubular chassis based on coil-sprung ranger suspension.

There was a thread on this once quite some time ago, and if I remember correctly just about everything is different between the torsion bar frame and the coil spring frame, including many of the crossmembers and such that you probably don't want to be tampering with.

Have you considered a frame swap? You could do some pretty sweet **** with just a rolling chassis before swapping your front clip, cab, and bed onto the frame. It'd be much easier to do your c-notch, bags, and suspension without so much sheetmetal in the way. You could sell your t-bar frame afterwards to help recoup some cash.

yea, ive came to the conclusion that a 2wd edge is the worst option to have if you wanna do heavy modding to your ranger. I wanna sell it nowadays
