Need ideas for a suspension...
Hey Im new too Ranger forum. just bought a 1998 ford ranger 2wd regular cab stepside. it needs new leafs in the back and the front end is very loose i would like too lift it just 2.5 inches. Whats the cheapest/safest way to do this?(daily driver) Or i would like to just beef up the stock suspension. just in case i want to tear through some trails. any ideas?

welcome to the site, for the rear there alot of things for lift, like expo leafs, add a leaf, shackles, blocks,i'm pretty sure the chevy leaf pack will fit your truck it's just a little more work with the hangers needed.for the front other then coil spring spacers or longer coils that's if you got coils up front but i'm not sure on that lol

Thank you for the input. heres a better question...other then the leafs and coils. what would i need? i lifted a ford bronco 5.8 litre about 3 years ago and i had to buy so many extra parts just to get it all right. like drivshaft shortend etc. i just dont want to get into a big project like that but want to lift it.
