since you have a 2wd, there are better options for you than a body lift. Body lifts are generally used as an alternative for 4wd's since 4wd suspension lifts are so expensive, but you can actually get a lift spindle for your truck. New, you can get a suspension kit that is around $650, or you can find them used for much much less.
here is my truck with the fabtech 3 inch spindles, torsion bar crank and a contraption of things in the back with 32x11.50r15's. I will be running 33's as soon as these tires wear down, i just cant justify getting new ones just yet. my leafs are really worn so i had to get some new shackles along with the add a leafs, but you wont have to worry about that. I take my truck offroading all the time and it holds up great.
dont mind the camper shell....its off now, but thats the most recent pic i have

heres my opinion on the "suspension vs. body" debate...
My old truck - 2001 EDGE 2wd w/ body lift, 4.56's, and 32's.
It handled the small stuff well and street driving was fine. Kind of a harsh ride, though. Some of the bigger stuff this truck didn't like... like the Barstow and Pismo trips I came along to... (Alon, Trent - you know what I'm talking about)
My new truck - 2000 XLT 2wd w/ Camburg 5.5, Deaver LTs, and 33's.
Handles pretty much everything I want to do... taking on whoops and jumps at a pretty good speed. Handles great on the street, too.
The spindle package is your best bet. Putting on those body lifts don't give you anything but tire clearence and an ugly frame to look at. Spending the little extra to get the spindles would definately be your best bet. You don't get an ugly frame to look at and it performs much better than would a body lift. Plus it makes it have a wider stance up front. Now, I know that my Camburg kit isn't exactly just a spindle - its much more than that, but it looks somewhat similar. The spindles would perform much better than a body lift, but wouldn't outdo the Camburg kit. Sorry if this post is a little much, I should have listened to people here on the forums before I put the body lift on my old truck.

I can vouch for suspensionmax.I bought my front leveling springs, spindles, rear blocks, and upper control arms from them. Great company!
