Hey I just finally got all the things I think I need to lower my Ranger. I got some 2" Drop Coils and a flip Kit. Just wanted to know some things before I start for real lol. Do I need to jack the frame up and put it on the jackstands for the back to take off the leaf springs and the shocks to flip it in the back? Do I need some camber eccentrics for the front since I am using drop springs? I mean does the alignment place sell those? Or will it be cheaper to buy them myself and install them and then just let them do a regular alignment.

Thanks

Serial

I am Swoopie!

Start htting the suspension bolts and such with PB Blaster. It's probably easier to take the bed off while your working on the back too.

Most Definately take the bed off if possible, while it isn't totally nessisary, it will make things a LOT easier in the long run.

I know this from swapping rears/leaves/stuff under the full size rigs for all these years. I never personally did it, but i assume it will make some things a lot less aggrivating than need be with the bed still on.

Totally Random Post (admin - i have no idea)

well if you are doing 2" in the front and flipping the back, it might look like you are bully ******* it since flipping trh rear gives you about 4". jsut from what I hear, take the bed off it will be easier, start in the early morning on this cause somteims things come up that aren't planned and you gotta take care of them.

Good luck aligning the front after installing a drop coil. You'll probably never get the camber right even with cams. And that's if your frame is still straight after all those years.

Shops do sell camber bushings, but it will be cheaper for you to get some and install them yourself. And definately get drop I-beams.

And put your truck on 4 jackstands when doing this!
