Shackles/AAL question
Hey Gents,
About to do a 4" superlift on my 2011 FX4 and I saw a lot of guys talking about shackles and AAL. My question is this: If both shackles and AAL have to do with the leaf springs that are only on the rear end of my truck won't they just lift the back and leave the front looking like it's sagging?
Tried looking in other threads but couldn't find an explanation.
Thanks,

why are you worried about it if you have a 4" superlift? the superlift kit will raise the front and the back.
i personally hate add-a-leaf's. their junk band-aids for sagging leafs. If you gonna lift it, do it right. but to answer your question, yes. addaleaf and shackles out back with nothing up front will give you one massive rake.

I did use an AAL and shackles to lift my '07 Level II. The kit comes with blocks for the back but they want you to stack them on top of the block that is there from the factory.
If I were you, I'd either put new lift leaf springs in or go the AAL/shackle route. Stacking blocks isn't a good idea in my opinion.
