Any recommendations of brand of front shock to install in 99 Ranger 3.0? My Ranger has 153k and I plan on replacing the stock shocks with a replacement. Do not need any special as all my driving is city/hwy. I have Advanced/Napa/Oreilly/Autozone in my area. Thanks

 

I would go to RockAuto and get some Monroe HD shocks. They're about 11 bucks a piece there. Shiping is very fairly priced, and is very fast. They also offer a few more brands, though I am not sure if their price is better than others for those shocks. (Rancho, etc.)

Might as well do fronts and rears for that price. You can also get the front lower shock mounting studs for about 5 bucks a piece, and those would be used if you happened to break the lower mounts or find them damaged, or about ready to fall off.
