ive got a 94 ranger and im tryin to sit my truck low on a budget. i was just wondering about cheap kits. also i know you can lift a truck by cranking on the torsion bars but can you lower it the same way?
Torsion bar cranking is for 98+ 4x4/Edge/06+ Sport trucks only. You have twin-ibeams that run on a coil system. You can get a rear flip kit which puts the leaf springs under the axle for cheap and you can probably get smaller coils or even cut your current ones to lower the front.
ive got a buddy thats got a metal fab shop he said he could make me a rear flip kit but i was told cutting the spring can give some horrible camber without replacing the ibeams with the dream beams
You said "cheap kits" so cutting the coils is cheap. Go ahead and buy some drop beams you will have some camber with those too. If you are worried about camber keep it stock.
