Fox CoilOver Swap + Rear Shock Swap

First off, being new to the forum, I'll introduce myself. My name is Steve. I picked up my Ranger back in November, and it has been slowly consuming the majority of my free time ever since. My goal for the truck at the moment is a Mild Pre-Runner. This truck is still somewhat of a daily driver when I am home to use it, so I'm restraining myself from going all out....... just yet. However, I also like the idea of sneeking some more offroad capability under what looks to be, mostly stock.

The next thing I am looking to do, probably in early May, is a Coilover Conversion. I really like the looks of the kit ORW offers, and I will likely go with Fox Coils. Along with the Coilovers up front, I was thinking about swapping out the Bilsteins in the rear for a set of remote reservior Fox shocks. Being new to the offroad game, I have a few questions still;

- Will I be able to fully level out with the adjustment on the coils.
- Has anybody else done anything similar to this in the rear?
- What else should I be considering when doing such a swap in the rear, and is there any real benefit?

I would like to do the Dixon Bros Cantilever, but It's out of my price range at the moment. But some added travel, and bump "soakupability" would still be nice. Any advice I can get is greatly appreciated, especially regarding the rear swap.

Thanks.

Steve.

Attatched are two pictures of the truck as it currently sits.

Yes you can level out with the coils in the front. They are the threaded shocks so you can change preload and ride height up to 2 inches. It's about the same as cranking the torsion bars except you don't lose any ride quality. The ride is actually greatly improved with the fox coilovers.

As for the rear you can do a few different things. You can get fox shocks for the rear, or you can do something like deaver leafs.

Yes, I have. I also have 6" Softride Skyjacker lift leaf springs.
