Lift coil spacers and U bolts - MI

Coils spacers that for sure fit TTB RBV coils, I'm not sure about newer rangers, I think they give about 1" of lift. These fit in between the coils of the spring preventing a small part of the spring from compressing, which results in some lift. Asking $20 shipped to the lower 48

U-bolts for a 3 1/4" axle (such as 4x4 rangers and broncos). They measure 1/2" in diameter and 8" in length. Comes with nuts and the spring plates in the picture. They look like they are in real good shape, just muddy. These normally cost about $40 for a set of u-bolts brand new, asking $15.

Located in Petoskey, MI (49770)

Should probably ask this in the suspension forum and you'll probably get a better response.

However, as it pertains to this ad, if you have a TTB ranger then you could use these coil spacers to give you probably an additional 1" of lift in the front. But dont' expect them to give you 5.5 inches of lift, for that you need new coils and other components.

they are cupped on the top and bottom, plus the weight of the vehicle and they'll never go anywhere. But you can also wrap a zip-tie around it just to be safe

Yes definitely. If they weren't split like that there is no way you could install them. remember a spring coils, its a continuous run of metal that winds from one end of the spring to another.

Here is a similar coil spacer and how it looks when installed:

I take it thought that these wont fit on the '98+ coil springs.

Depends entirely on the width of the springs. I have a 94, so I can only tell you that my TTB springs are about 5" from side to side, so these fit perfectly. These measure 6" OD, so I think any spring that is 5" wide would fit

Actually with the design of these things, the spring width isn't as important... these are rubber and will simply spread or contract as they follow the spring around its coil when you install them.... so I would say yes, these should work fine on a 98 or later ranger
