hought I would share this with you guys. I know muffler's are always beat to death,
but sometimes you just have to hear them in person. Well in some instances you don't
have access to someone who has the same car and the setup you want. So you rely on youtube, or streetfire what have you....

Anyway I had always wanted a pair of Borla's on my coupe, Ever since I was in highschool
had a buddy with Borla's on his 93 GT. The car just sounded unbelievable. Just low, deep non tin sounding. When you stabbed the stupid pedal the car just screamed. Well I came across a pretty much new set of Borla Pro XS 2.5 mufflers. Stainless steel...blah blah blah

The car they are going on, is a 90 LX coupe. 134,000 mile stock block. Stock heads, cam everything. Has a BBK short ram intake, FRPP shorty headers, Offroad H-pipe, and right now old school Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers. These are the before being aluminized style. After the mufflers is 2.5 LX stainless tailpipes.

Enough of the tech stuff....anyway I tried the best I could with the video, the wind is not helping, but we did the best we could. Basically this is going to be a comparison between 2 chamber flows and Borla Pro XS mufflers. All that I'm changing is the mufflers and flowtubes.

I will post up the other video as soon as I get the new muffler's on. Keep in mind these are just going to be clamped on until I can get the whole system welded up. I hope this will help some guys out with trying to figure out what they like and what they don't like. Sometimes all we have to rely on is youtube...LOL and sometimes that sucks.

Borla PRO XS 2.5 muffler's, with a offroad H-pipe. These are dumped right now, but will run through 2.5 stainless LX tailpipes here shortly.

 

those borlas sound a lot different... maybe its just the videos but they dont sound as mean

 

It's alot lower of a sound....and it's not as high of a frequency......trust me it sounds alot badder..
