Rooster goes doodle doooo for your viewing pleasure...

played on the way home from getting the paper...got home and immediately grabbed the lil bro to film. had to go back. lol.

it's been a long while since we've had a dose of the 'Griggs Shaky Cam' action..so...without further ado...

All this is is just a lil 2wheel 2nd gear open rear action.

Hell Yeah... I went out and played for a bit in the snow today too.. Its snowed all day up here .. still snowing as a matter a fact...

Looks like you all are getting hit as much as we are. looks like it would be more fun in 4WD.

still cool though.

Passes in WA don't close for more than a few hours.... we're pretty good about keeping the roads clear and drive-able

I hate you.
(only because I don't live in Oregon any more)
You live there for 23 years, and only months after you leave, Oregon gets a record snow fall in the Valley...
Damnit

ohhhhh....brian. that axle in the front of the truck........is your old one loaded with 4.88's....

yea dude. i'm a little miffed the 4.88 ring gear WILL NOT work on a torsen limited slip unit found in Level2 axles....so...i'm open because of that one reason alone. Aussie soon though.

Didn't you have an aussie in the front and rear of the trac?

Yep, aussie front and rear. I loved the rear aussie locker, the front was nice but I didn't get to use it much, only wheeled it a few times with it. It is a little awkward in the snow but not that bad. Pulling the trailer through Wyoming in the snow in 4x4 worked just fine, steered okay.
It was awsome offroad. Where even my roommate's Jeep would struggle in some spots with an open front end, I could go right over top.
Honestly the best thing about the aussie is that they unlock and lock smoothly, you hardly notice it. The rear will not hinder steering ability. The front will a little in 4x4, but not if you are off the throttle.

the aussie is a little odd int eh front but if you let it synchronize and go where it wants at first then its good. a little more awkward with a 5 speed because it has to synchronize every time you shift.

how is the rear? any problems with it? im considering it in my 31 spline
