White lettered tires

I am getting some 33x12.50r15 mickey thompson MTZs in about 2-3 weeks. I want white letters so is there anything i can put on them to make the letters white. White paint would work, but that would prolly wear off and what do yall put on your polished rims to make them shine after you wash them. Thanks

So your asking how to make them white if they're not all ready? I heard vinegar will clean them up real well, never tried it though.

I spray my wheels with black magic wheel spray and it shines them up alright.

The white letters are actually different rubber that's 'painted' white and most tires are 'painted' for a more uniform black.

The 'paint' put on rubber is a special mix of paint, rubber, and a solvent which allows it to bond and become part of the sidewall. It's cured on as well, so I don't know what kind of result you're going to get with white paint. If it doesn't stick it will be easy to get off with an sos pad or even fairly fine steel wool.

And the sos pad is the best thing for cleaning white letters, and for removing the blue that protects them when they're new.
