Lug nut/Stud issues

Well a buddy and I headed to the local Burger King for lunch and I noticed a kind of metal scraping metal noise coming from the rear of the truck. We listened to it the whole way there and the whole way back, so when we got back to the school parking lot he went and got his tire iron and checked the lugs. The lugs are breaking in spots and these are brand new lugs. Are the rear studs supposed to be longer than the fronts? Any suggestions on what type of lugs I need? Right now I have some I got off of titan wheels ebay store, the 1/2" Acron style. Help is appreciated.

Funny I had the same problem but wih the front on my 03 4x4.
I purchased a set of locking lugs and the front two cracked,
Speed Shop first told me it was my fault for not measuring the stud and of course I said who the Fxxx measures their lugs before puttin gon nuts ?
The std lugs appear to be OK but the locks went south.
I am in a stale-mate with them now but at least I got a Store Credit, better than nothing.

I think the Shop said Dodge Lugs will work better, funny.
