15x8 or 15x10?

15x8 or 15x10?
I can't decide on which one to get? I'm pretty much settled on DC-1 blacks wrapped in 33x12.5R15 BFG M/T. I phoned the 4wheelparts store in Edmonton and the gentlemen strictly told me not to get 15x10. I have heard there are some potential problems with running a 15x10 wheel, but is it anything serious?

You can run a 15x10. Many people on here do it with no problems. If you plan on doing a lot of offroading I'd go with the 15x8. It will hold the bead of the tire better if you air down. My guess though is you aren't going to be doing much offroading. So therefore I'd go with 15x10 for maximum treadwear and an increased contact patch.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'm going to go with 15x10. I'm a weekend 4 wheeler and my truck is my DD. It's all mud and sand considering there's no trails out here in Saskatchewan so I never really worry about airing down . It's all in good fun I'm not too worried about peak performance but street appearence is always a nice thing to have.

Here's a pic of my truck under pretty near full flex in the rear, keep in mind this is with a 3 inch BL, 31/10.5/15 BFGs on factory 15x7s. The land is so flat here I'm not too worried about rubbing. I also plan on getting a superlift in a couple of months.

As you can see, the tire is barely even tucked.
