I like to run 15x8's on 12.50's.......might be a myth, but i think it aids in keeping the tire's bead on the tire when I air down to 13psi. Thus....keeping the tire on the rim.

I personally just like the look of the 15x10, doesn't bulge so much in the sidewall. If you offroad a lot like fx4wannabe was talking about then a 15x8 would be preferred but it depends on how your going to be using them.

what kind of rims are you looking at? I have ultras at 10% off right now.

And I ran a 15x8 with 33x12.50

For 35's i'd run a 15x10

15x10....you can still air down with a 15x10....a 15x10 will give you a fuller contact patch letting your tread wear more even....

i thought it was rule of thumb to only run with an inch or so of overhang so you don't blow a bead. this is for either street or off road driving.

12.5" of tire on an 8" rim leaves 2" on either side. can't that make it unsafe to drive? if your air pressure gets to low wouldn't it be unsafe? at least with a 10" rim, there is only an inch on either side.

A guy at work runs 315 75 16 on his STOCK f150 rims. 16X7 I believe. No problems, or so he says.
