$700 for body lift installment?
i got my body lift today...went to the local shop and they want $700 for labor to install..and they said there would be way to much work for me to do it alone..but it seems like alot of guys on here do it with no trouble? and they said it takes anywhere to 12-14 hours to install? that also seems very high? how much have you guys payed for labor before?

I was pricing a BL for my 2002 ranger, and the local shop quoted me $350 and that was including the cost of the BL. $700 is INSANE!! like stated above, get a few buddies and some beer and make a day of it!! great learning experiance, and you will have the satisfaction of knowing YOU had a hand in how your truck looks, not some guys over charging you.

man you can order a 3in body lift off summitracing.com, modbargains.com, or 4wheelparts.com for a heck of alot better price then 400$!!!!!!!!!
me and my brother put a body lift on a 1998 toyota 4runner and it took us 7 hours make sure you buy a lil mini torch if you dont already own one so you can melt the old lock tite!!

i did a body lift yesterday for a member on here, took me 4 hours by myself doin it and didnt charge him a dime, just gave me something todo lol
only reason it took so long was the stubborn 4 front mounts (radiator support and front of cab) are always rusted to hell. and the fact that it was 90 and muggy as hell

/\ /\ /\ yea, mike your are cool as ice haha. i appriceate all the help and knowledge that you have provided. yea the body lift should not be 700 dollars to install mine didnt take as long as i thought it was gonna take it the only reason it took that long is because the company sent the wrong bolts and we had to add washers and had to cut the steering extension but that is all simple things if you and a friend got together you could do it in a couple hours or more with breaks lol.

and they also neglected to include the fan shroud drop bracketry, all in all i was rather disappointed in the quality of the kit, however it was all made to work with a little massaging
