body lift or lift kit

I'm not sure if I should look into a body lift in the future or a lift kit. The truck is just a DD and a mud truck. If I get a body lift it'll be a 3" body if its a lift it'll be a 4" lift.

what year? I assume 93? If so, I vote suspension because it's cheap to suspension lift those TTB rangers compared to the IFS 98+ trucks.

I dont know I almost like the idea of a body lift because I can retain stock suspension but I guess there is also the question of how rough of a ride does the truck get when lifted?

Mine got better when I lifted it. There was no difference in ride when the bodylift went on.

What year?

Its a 1993 so like you said it is the TTB ranger so I guess doing the suspension might just be the way to go.

RE:

When lifting a TTB Ranger with suspension their are many things that need to be dropped or replaced to keep correct geometry that will run upwards of $800+. In my opinion these types of lifts perform better on the road and off road.Although body lifts are less expensive in the long run you are going to wish that you may have went with a suspension lift for the improved ride control, that eliminates acceleration squat and minimizing braking nose dive. Also controls roll and pitch, which is a major factor when raising a vehicles known center line.
