I bought an 06 Ranger and from the bottom of the door to ground it's about 25.5". I had some work done on it and my mechanic said the shocks were extended almost all the way out and that they had things called shock extensions that should have been used. Anyways, the passenger front shock top mounting rubber spacer blew out and now the shock is just kinda wobbling around in the hole. What I would like to know is what kind of shocks should I buy, how long can I drive without this shock. I plan on getting it fixed ASAP but it might be a few days and where can I find the proper shock extensions.
