manual transfercase extention for 3inch body lift
manual transfercase extention for 3inch body lift
I plan on doing a body lift on my level II next month, and I have everything lined up expecpt the manual transfercase part. I've searched and all I could find was a few guys talking about bending the level a bit and notching the floor just to get the 4x4 to work, but i would loose 4low.
Now, I could have bet money that I saw a thread in the past year talking about the manual transfercase extention with pics but I could not find it. Anyone have the pics or a link?
thanks!

You're gonna have hell with that level II boot and bezel setup, there just isn't room for any extra movement in there. You're probably going to have to hack it up pretty good and it still may not work. Here are some threads to read though.
Whatever you do, please don't hack up that level II tranny inspection plate. That sucker is hard to find and expensive if you need to replace it! The t-case shifter will work without cutting it at all.

I posted some pics of what I did in this thread, just keep in mind I'm not running that level II style boot/bezel.
