I have a CEL on for months. Decided to fix it with my limited mechanical abilities. I followed this video: . It seemed pretty straight forward and I ordered the valve. Problems were: The clip to the computer broke. Second I broke the old valve connection to the thermistor. I connected the new valve anyway and trip to pull the broken off piece from the hose running to the thermistor but it seems like a solid piece. Everything is connected (wire tie and clamp for now). I think I should replace the thermistor too. Still getting the code, I suspect the thermistor is actually broken too. The truck runs but until I clamped the line it was idling rough. Anyone have any suggestions on a part number for thermistor and is the clip to computer replaceable?

Looks like I posted too soon. I cleared the code and it's not returning. I guess I am good to go.
