AC leak
AC leak
Hello guys,
I replaced my AC compressor, condenser, receiver/dryer as well as the hoses and got the system to hold vacuum.
However, once I unplug the AC manifold gauges, the Schrader on the receiver/dryer valve sucks the air in. I can see it possible, that the shrader valve could need positive pressure to close, but it seems silly.
So do you guys things this is a defective NEW receiver/dryer or normal operation?
P.S Once I assembled everything, I had a system leak. I was able to track it down to an O-ring that wasn’t thick enough on the NEW high-pressure hose lol
