A/C blows air but not cold after timing belt change
I recently had the timing belt changed on my 2.3L, and now the A/C doesn't blow cold. It used to blow very cold before taking it to the shop. When changing the timing belt, is there something they would have had to unplug that they could have forgotten to plug back in? I checked the compressor and it looks like its plugged in. Any thoughts?
the first question for you is:
Does the compressor turn on?
start the engine, turn temp to cold, then turn the thing to AC.
yu should immediately feel a bit of a luch and feel the engine note change.
if it turns on, have the refrigerant level checked
if it doesn't, chek the compressor clutch fuse, recheck the connection on the plug, and try to find out why its not coming on from there.
I wouldn't think itm would be a belt misroute issue, you'd notice an empty pulley really quick:D
