Changed my Plugs and wires

So i decided to change my spark plugs and wires today and as far as i know that is the first time that they have been changed in 117k miles and let me tell you what, that sucked SOOO mch dingaling! none of the plugs wanted to come off and the last two on the driver side are a pain in the *** to get too, dont plan on ever doing that again....just thought idl let u know

i know what you mean i went to change mine resentlty and the plastic part around the wire melted to the block so when i pulled the wire off it left melted plastic behing and the socket wouldnt go all the way on the plug it was homo and a Huge p.i.t.a

heh yea, they can be fun to change all 8, I've got it down to about an hour for the entire job, but then again I've also put 210,000 miles on my truck since I've owned it so you can go tend to go through a few sets of plugs in that time...

Changing the spark plugs on a ranger can be a pain. The exhaust manifold side is easy, but the intake manifold side is a pain.

Just did mine at 105K.

The 4.0 is definitely no fun either.

Look at the bright side, it'll be another 117K before you have to do that again, right?

I.. hate spark plugs...


I hate 4.0 spark plugs, and changing them is the pits..!!


*very stressed right now from it* lol

2.3 and 4.0 spark plugs suck to change.....i get very frustrated when we get a tune up on one here at work.
