Cooling Sytem

Hi everyone
rebuilding a crash damaged 99 Ranger 2.5 2wd ive bought .
replaced water pump and a few other parts - the dash temperature gauge isnt working and on examknstion rhere are two senders above the water pump ( both damaged ) which one is which ?????

Red/white wire is the temp SENDER, 12volt, can be 1 wire or 2 wires, its for dash board temp gauge

ECT sensor is always 2 wire usually a grey/red and/or green wire, 5volts and only used by the computer

ECT sensors usually have a cone shaped tip in the coolant
SENDER a cylinder shaped tip
One is 12v the other 5v so not interchangeable, lol
