Hi everyone, I'm new here but have done some searching prior to posting this. I couldn't find anything specific, but I have a feeling it's been covered before.

2004 Ford Ranger, 2.3l., 230k miles. Runs well and has been maintained. The problem is the dashboard brake light is illuminated and so far I haven't been able to figure out why.

I checked both the reservoir and e brake switch with a resistance test, and both passed. Visual inspection of brakes checks ok, and they were done probably less than 5k miles ago (front and rear).

What else should I check?
