Do brands make a difference? (Plug wires)

I have a small crack on one of the ports on the coil pack. The replacement packs will deliver tomorrow. I figure it would be a good idea to do the wires and plugs as well. There are tons of brands for the wires and they vary from 7mm to 8.2mm. I’m not sure what the sizing is referring to.
Using SRE as an example, prices also vary drastically. https://www.summitracing.com/search/...-size/2-5l-153

does the core size have any impact on performance and or long term reliability? Not sure what a 1mm difference means in use between the core size choices.
