Ignition Switch wiring harness tabs

Ignition Switch wiring harness tabs
I was changing the ignition switch on my 92 2.3L and both tabs snapped off the wiring harness as I was unplugging it. Does anyone foresee this as being an issue? The new ignition switch still goes in snug but I am worried it could come loose. Any suggestions?
