lift kits

i want to get tires that are not to big and i dont want to have to buy new wheels. How big should i get the tires? how much does a lift kit cost? How high should i get it lifted?

It helps if we know what year and how many drive wheels your truck is.
This question has been answered at least a hundred times over, try the search feature.

you gotta give us a clue man, think about what you said. i want a tire thats big but not too big, i dont want new wheels and what size life. give us something to go off man. is say for you do a 32 max but idk ive never had a 4 banger lifted.

i was thinking a 15x8 rim....the american racing baha ones with 31 inch tires and a three inch body lift......i just want it a little hire without bogging it down to much because it has no power at all

It'll probably be TIGHT w/ only 3" body and 31's on a stock I-beam 2wd.


Heck.....aren't the 5.5" kits max tire is 31"?? You've probably got a crappy rear gear ratio.......so your probably looking at gears possibly as well.
