Oil Pan Gasket and Pick Up replacement
Oil Pan Gasket and Pick Up replacement
Kinda searching around here and the web, not finding a straight answer to this-
This is for 2001 with a 2.5L with manual transmission.
Does the engine need to be removed or can the transmission be removed? I did see a thread that stated to back the bell housing bolts off a bit and pull the transmission back a bit.
I do recall working on the oil pan years ago on my previous Ranger. I also remember a dust shield being a pain. I know I did not remove the engine; but I am wondering if I just dropped the transmission out.. HMMMM
