Truck won't start
Truck won't start
My truck has been running really bad. Mpg is around 10; horrible for a 2.3 Lima; no power under 2500 rpms, won't maintain speed in 5th gear, need to down shift to3rd to go up minor hills. I've changed plugs, wires, coils, ignition module, tps. Just changed flywheel because it was chewed up. Truck overheated today because my 2month old radiator is leaking. Went to store, came out truck wouldn' t start. Towed home tried spraying Maf cleaner in intake man. No start. Checked spark at coil on passenger side, sparks were small and orange. Any ideas?
Since you say the truck is under powered and overheated, perform a compression test.
Post the compression readings here.
Replace the radiator and insure your coolant is no longer leaking. ( provided you have good compression).
Once I know your engine has good compression and will no longer overheat from a simple leak I can help you further.
