Weird acceleration problem

So I just recently noticed that I have a weird acceleration problem when my rpms are pretty high. My truck starts to lightly jerk when I don't shift into next gear. I have a 2.3l 4 banger with manual tranny.

could be leaning out maybe or ignition could be getting worn down and not making enough of a spark at high rpms

I have this same feeling, but mines from 1500-2000 rpms.. its odd, it does feel like lean spots, but I wouldn't think that to be so since its a newer car. I have a 2002 xlt ranger, 4cly. Any help???
