not looking for a stainless system because of all the road salt used up here
i will be getting a new exhaust system next spring .
( hopefully the catalytic`s can be salvaged )
can`t ask the dealer for a warranty replacement ( they won`t touch it anyway )

i am not looking for a total free flowing system ,, just something with about 25 to 40%
more exhaust output flow

lol inm all seriousness maybe a flowmaster 50 series or a magnaflow 5x9

 

Flowmaster makes a 60 series that is made for small displacement engines or you might try going for a muffler for a 4.0.

 

I don't know where you're located but I have replaced quite a few exhausts systems. You might have to go into a big city bad neighborhood to find one of those low cost muffler shops ( not midas etc) they are always cheaper than stock replacement parts and they do the work. Downside is they bend them up right there using cheaper metal and weld them in place.

a 3.0 or 4.0 might be different flowing. I know my stock 3.0 one actually had a decent amount of noise out the back and would cackle on lift throttle. I would say it flows decently well.
