1993 3.0 intake manifold gaskets question

Hello I have a 1993 Ford ranger when I bought it the guy said he replaced the thermostat and he did but he also ended up breaking the intake in the process. I went to the junkyard and found a good intake but noticed that when i tried to take it off the the pushrods were in the way. Do I have to loosen all of them and readjust them when I do an intake on this? Thank you

Yes, loosen the rockers enough to remove the push rods. The intake hangs up on some of them Can't remember which cylinders though. I always just did them all. There is no adjusting the rockers. There is a torque sequence however. Easy peasy.

Also, when reinstalling the push rod, take extra care to make sure you get the rod seated properly into the lifter. If you drop one down in to the valley, it will require ingenuity or intake removal to retrieve it.
