1993 3.0L High Oil Pressure

So i'm having problems with the truck again. Cant get it to start...I'v got another post about trying to solve that problem..but also When i do roll the truck and pop the clutch and start the truck...the oil gauge says its running high oil pressure...Its not running unusual or anything...but i'm not sure what causes high oil pressure...theres no water in oil..thats been checked..anyone know what i should check??

Do you have the stock gauge or a mechanical one? The stock one is just a dummy gauge and is basically an on off switch.

it is the stock gauge in the cluster...it was running low oil pressure before..and of course lifter were rattling and all so i changed the oil pump and it fixed that..then it started running normal for past couple months and when i started having these electrical problems you could say with the truck not starting without popping the clutch..it started running high oil pressure..maybe its just messed up in the electrical department...
