1995 ford ranger 3.0 auto SHIFTS HARD
At grandpa cruisin speeds it shifts okay but when you need to get out in front of someone it will shift firmer than my bros 99 and on highway passin speeds if you gun it and it shifts into top gear at 70 it shifts hard as hell. wat do u guys think rebuild trans r could a sensor be going bad. it has 92000 miles on it. idk it doesnt slip jus shifts hard. gimme some input.
truck is ALL stock. old problem last owner was a 40 year old firefighter i think. so that makes me think maybe ya know fire happened and he said dukes of hazzard to the fire dept. which was only like 1 mile from his house.
yeah ill probably take it out myself but ill have someone rebuild it i jus dont have the time. and this is just a daily driver so i wont put a shift kit in it i hate hardass shifting cars trucks.
a shift kit does firm up the shifts and im pretty picky i just want a smooth shift to where i almost cant feel it.
no check engine lights ever had the truck since 72000 miles one year from today
