Well I just did a compression test and the average pis was 120 so still above the minimum of 100 PSI according to Haynes...except cylinder No. 5 which gave a 20 psi reading....she doesn't burn a drop of oil or make any sounds that would cause alarm and doesn't burn any oil. Am i safe to assume I have most likely a head issue as far as a bad valve?
After removing the heads on mine I discovered a burned intake valve on my weak cylinder...with a damaged and burnt valve seat and seat insert into the head.I pretty much knew that was the problem after seeing how far the valve was sitting so deep into the seat insert on the head.
