Overheat but no milky oil

Overheat but no milky oil

my truck overheated and i flushed the radiator and put more water in it, i drove it home and it would barely go, its running really rough, i checked the oil and it was normal

im wondering if my waterpump went out, could this be my problem

even if its not mixing with the oil you could still have blown a gasket its just going straight out the exhaust do a cooling system pressure test and a compression test to see if any of those test tell you something
