3.0 Info Needed for 93 Ranger

I have a 1993 Ranger with 3.0L engine 5 speed tranny...My engine needed to be replaced because of afew problems it had....So now i'm looking for another engine..Could anyone give me the years that would be a direct fit for my 1993? I read something and believe it was saying that the engine i'm looking for was put into 1992-1994 Rangers. But if anyone could confirm this info for me that would be fantastic. The reason i ask is a have been offered a good running engine from a 1991 for $150 so if it is a direct fit i will take that offer...I just want to try and avoid haveing to rewire things and such...its n ice when you can pull a engine and drop in an engine and just hook everything back up. please respond if you can help. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that, that engine will fit. For $150 its worth it to get it anyways. I know that I believe in 95 they switched from distributors to coil packs but I'm pretty sure if you have all the extras for your engine that any 3.0L engine could work.
