3.0 ranger stall problem / dealer is a scam

For 2 days My 2003 ford ranger runs fine but at idle or when I let off the gas it stalls. It bounces from 800 to 200rpm in idle and dies. No engine light and after checking everything I took it in to ford and had it diagnosed. After 8 hours they managed to tell me all checks came up good. Compression, fuel pump, intake, fuel pressure. but they can't get the trucked started after it last stalled. After $218 they wanted me to spend 4.5 hours at $109 an hour to tear into the head and check it out. F&$k no. I told them thats bulshit and to get the truck running since I dropped it off running. Well they screwed me and I had it towed home. I messed around a little, charged the battery and wow I got the truck started. But without the dealerships help. I'm still stuck with the same stall problem. Do not go to cowles ford in woodbridge va. Any ideas that can help me out?
