Well.....the pulleys are the same per the same application...it's only the finish that's changed.

Oh I was going to get blue...

The crank pulley is what gives you the performance. The others reduce weight which does help some.

I think hes asking which of the pullies will enhance performance. the crank pulley. none of the other pullies will contribute to performance gains.

yeah the crank is where the gains from, the other pullies are to help speed everything else back up.

Black FTW, helps with my little sleeper (wink wink) with the sound of the whine from the pullies and the sucking sound of the intake sounds like Im double boosted

So you do not have to buy the full pulley system to experience the gain?

So it won't effect anything if I just get the crank pulley?

If you have a big system or a ton of offorad lights that draw a lot of power I'd get the alternator pulley too but if your just stock electronics you'll be fine.

Get the alt pulley. 95a is weak already if you start running any sort of decent electronics + AC + lights.

You can stand to gain 2hp less, trust me. You likely wont feel the difference as pulleys alone only give a bit in the seat of the pants anyway.

And black FTW. Ask any SPL guy, black ports are louder. That means black = conservation of mechanical energy = more powa no matter what.

if later on down the road you decide to put in a sound system or run off road lights you can upgrade to an explorer alternator... Ive seen some of these go for dirt cheap... btw if you get the alt pulley it adds a neat little whine... before I could put my crank pulley on I just had the alt pulley on and people thought I had a supercharger... granted I only drove it 7 miles to the local advance to finish up the job, the employees came out and asked for me to pop the hood and I was like ok.... and they were wondering where the S/C was lol....

In my experience, Alt whine is usually the only sign it's about to go out... Not sure if Id want that intentionally...

before I had my "CAI" you could hear it whine... and its still running like a champ a year and a half later... I see no problems what so ever, now Ive got this mixture of whine and sucking in air... almost like a supercharger/ turbo sound.... but usually the CAI overwhelms the whine so I dont really hear it unless Im idling and then its not annoying either, like when someones power steering is going out
