3.0L SHO

3.0L SHO IS a 3.0L Vulcan with better pistons, rods, oil pump, timing cover, intake and heads. Yamaha was contracted to make the 3.0L Vulcan breathe and rev.
The 3.0L SHO crank HAS BEEN modified to drop in to a Vulcan, but there would need to be a conversion flywheel/flexplate.
There have been 2 SHO Rangers that I know of, but the HVAC "bulge" has to be removed - i.e., no heat/AC. Space is a premium...
Parts are getting harder to come across on the older SHOs.

I've done some reading and we decided against it.. I need AC, and like you said, the parts are hard to come across, and only get harder every day lol. got a deal on a vulcan 3.0 with 48k, so I'm set.
