I personally think you will be fine with 33s and not regearing. I used to tow 4000lbs on a regular basis with 33s.

When you towed 4000lbs how did it tow ? I've never towed with my truck and I'm buying a trailer and Polaris razr s this year plus my quad .. Total weight when I bring both will be 3000lbs all together .. Could you pull 60-65 everywhere ? Mpg ? It how many miles per tank about ?

Kevin, its been several years back. I seem to recall getting around 12mpg and had similar mods that you have now. Besides mine was an automatic. If you are good at starting off with the manual you should be fine. I could easily run 70+ if I wanted to. I have pictures pulling more and less loads too just have to dig them up. I never pulled with a covered trailer though so that may be some difference as well.
